Certainly, Roval’s Terra CLs are a superb choice for those seeking a light-weight carbon wheelset, but they’re far from the one possibility you must contemplate. The hooked Terra rim provides an obvious shelf for a safe tubeless set-up. My only quibble in relation to inflating tyres was with the supplied tubeless valves and the flat shape of the rubber sealing grommets. I discovered these were prone to leaking and so I shortly changed them with regular Universal Alloy valves from WTB (same as Stan’s). I’d prefer to see Roval make this alteration themselves so customers don’t need to. A recurring problem is that the dialogue simply feels like somebody reading an encyclopedia.
